Diana is a 'Devoradora'--a man eater.  Men who fall in love with her get chewed up and spit out without any regard for their feelings.  Her lover is Adolfo, an older wealthy man.  However, when Pablo meets her and falls in love with her, he realizes that he will only be hurt in the end and he kills himself.  The situation only worsens when she asks Pablo's grandson Miguel to help her hide the body, but Miguel winds up becoming infatuated with her.  Now Miguel is conflicted about what to do, now that he knows the truth about Diana.
