Here's a new picture of Bette Davis.

Rikke has another cavalcade of stars:

• Lauren Bacall - 18 pictures, including two from Designing Woman (1957) with Gregory Peck

• Clara Bow - 8 pictures, including one from Hula (1927) and one from Mantrap (1926)

• Betty Hutton - 5 pictures from Annie Get Your Gun (1950), also featuring Howard Keel, for Agnieszka

Ricardo identified two current Alla Nazimova from Salome (1923), and two Marlene Dietrich photos from Shanghai Express (1932).

Gary has a special tribute to Leila Hyams, honoring the 102nd anniversary of her birth.  This site is up through the end of May, so check it out for lots of Leila-related goodies!

• a fascinating still of Dagny Servaes and Friedrich Kühne from Ernst Lubitsch's German production of The Loves of Pharaoh (1922)

• Norma Talmadge - 4 pictures from The Woman Disputed (1928), featuring Gilbert Roland

Chris sent in an earlier photo from The Great Divide—from the 1925 version starring Alice Terry.  This photo shows her tussling with George Cooper.

Karl returns with scans of Ronald Colman in Arrowsmith (1931), and Judy Garland and her crew in The Wizard of Oz (1939).

We have a new Gloria Swanson scan today.  It's a still from director Erich von Stroheim's fascinating Queen Kelly (1928), and depicts the famous scene where the Queen (Seena Owen) finds Swanson with the King and whips her butt out of the palace.  We also have a film clip.  This is a must-see silent film for two reasons:  Gloria Swanson portraying a teenager, and the lascivious close-ups of creepy Tully Marshall in the second half of the film.

Nick sent over some famous stars:

Richard provided two scans of relatively unknown actresses:

Some corrections and attributions:

• Nick stumbled upon Lex Barker in one of our photos from Tarzan and the Amazons, instead of Johnny Weissmuller, so we moved it to Barker's page

• Alene spotted three of our Julie Andrews pictures from Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella (1957)

• Ivan identified a Vincent Price photo as being from House on Haunted Hill (1959)
